We were wandering along the trail at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve when we noticed a few Coyote pups in a farm field. They had a rock which was a great toy for them. One would grab it and run while another would chase after to see if it could get it away. The rock would be tossed up in the air and when it fell, they would pounce on it. Not only were they enjoying themselves, they were learning how to catch rodents in the field during playtime.
