December, 2013

December 21st & 22nd 2013

We really enjoyed our walks over the last two days at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve.

Black-capped Chickadees were seen in the forest.

Song Sparrows were also seen there.

Spotted Towhees were also there.

The Double-crested Cormorants were in fine form, arguing over where to stand on a log and how not to spray each other when getting on the logs.

We enjoyed visiting with Mary, Eileen and Mair in the Rotary Interpretive Centre Gift Shop and Joanna and Rod on the trails.
