We had our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Double-crested Cormorants spread their wings to dry them.

A female Common Merganser slept on a log.

Great Blue Herons were busy near the Heronry.

Mallards were seen in many areas, they started to leave when the River Otters arrived.

Cottontail Rabbits were seen in several areas.

American Robins were seen in several spots.

Wood Ducks were seen in many areas.

A male Common Yellowthroat was seen.

We enjoyed talking to Warner, Rachel and Jill with Manny, Allison with Chesney, Bronwyn with Blondie and Wiley, Shirley and Bob as well as Janet, Karen and Hazel doing a bird count for the Great Blue Heron Nature Society.
