We had several sightings of Woodpeckers at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

We enjoyed watching a Northern Flicker checking out a snag for a possible nest site.

A little female Downy Woodpecker was hunting for insects in an area along the trail.

A male Pileated Woodpecker was completely engrossed in finding the insects which were causing damage to a tree. When we left, he was still busy with his project.
