We took our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
While we were watching Tree Swallows gathering nesting material, two Beavers got up on a log in front of us and started grooming each other.
Click below to see the Beavers and some Otters.
A few young Bald Eagles were in the area.
Northern Red-shafted and Northern Yellow-shafted Flickers were seen in two different areas.
Great Blue Herons are sitting on eggs on their nests at the moment. We saw a few near the Heronry looking for nesting material and food.
The Ospreys are still adding nesting material to their snag.
A Cottontail Rabbit was near the Heronry.
American Robins were seen along the trails.
Turtles were seen sunning themselves.
Male Common Yellowthroat Warblers were seen along the way.
Two River Otters showed up as we were walking along.
April 24 Clear/Cloudy 44F (6.6C)
We enjoyed chatting with Leona and Warner, Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogie, Liz with Boomer, as well as Casey with Ula on the trails.
