We had our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

A Beaver had a long branch for its breakfast.

A male Black-headed Grosbeak was seen high above us.

Male and female Common Mergansers were seen in good numbers.

Goslings were seen with adult Canada Geese.

The Great Blue Herons were busy getting food and attending to the growing chicks.

Wood Ducks and ducklings were seen in large numbers.

A Warbling Vireo was seen for a moment.

A male Common Yellowthroat was seen nearby.

Yellow Warblers were having singing duels.

A White-crowned Sparrow was singing on a post at the Lickman Dike Road.

Savannah Sparrows were also seen.

We enjoyed talking to Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogey, Casey with Ula, Marlane with Dexter, Alyson with Chesney, Leona and Werner, as well as Penny on the trails.
