June 25, 2017

We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

One of the resident Bald Eagles was being harassed by a Northwestern Crow.

An amazing amount of fledgling Great Blue Herons were learning the “ropes” of life away from the Heronry.

A male House Finch was seen near the parking lot.

Cedar Waxwings were seen gathering insects from Water Lily pads.

Weather

Afternoon 94.5F (34.7C)

We saw Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogie, Dean, Kathy with Tula on the trails.
