We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
A Coyote was seen in a farm field next to the Heronry.
One of the resident Bald Eagles was being harassed by a Northwestern Crow.
A few adult Great Blue Herons and some newly fledged Great Blue Herons were seen in many areas.

Fireweed drew the attention of a Rufous Hummingbird.
A female American Kestrel was seen in the distance.
Eastern Kingbirds were seen enjoying berries of a Red Osier Dogwood.
The Ospreys were looking after their two nestlings.
There are still a few Wood Ducks with new ducklings.
A male Common Yellowthroat was seen for a few moments.

We enjoyed talking to Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogie, Brenda with Finnegan, Kathy with Tula, as well as Liz and Gord with Boomer on the trails.
