We enjoyed a very nice walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
A few Great Blue Herons were seen along the way.
An American Kestrel nestling was peeking out of the nest this morning.
Eastern Kingbirds were seen along the trail.
A male Lazuli Bunting was seen in the distance near the Osprey’s nest.
The Ospreys were adding sticks to their nest this morning. They were being very careful not to hit the chicks with the new sticks.
A Turkey Vulture was seen overhead.
Cedar Waxwings were seen as usual at this time of year.
Quite a few Wood Ducks were seen as usual.
A male Common Yellowthroat was seen near the Rotary Interpretive Centre.

We enjoyed talking to Kathy with Tula, Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogie, Fred monitoring the Great Blue Heron Colony, as well as Rick S. on the trails and enjoyed a visit with Dick and Jean at the Rotary Interpretive Centre.
