We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
When we arrived, there was a Green Heron perched on an overhead wire near the gate. Later on, we found it across the North Lagoon.
A Beaver was seen enjoying a meal of sticks and leaves when another came along to be chased off a short distance before they both settled down to eat.
While we were watching the Beavers, Helmut came along to take us to see a Barn Owl that he and Selma had seen near the road near the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve. It was very kind of him to take John and us to see the lovely Owl.
The Eastern Kingbirds were seen again.
A Belted Kingfisher was seen as well.
A Willow Flycatcher was seen later on.
August 17 Clear/Cloudy 59F (15C) Afternoon 81.2F (27.3C)
We enjoyed seeing Terry with Bogie, Charlie with Jack, John Larsen, Helmut and Selma, as well as Connie and William on the trails.
