We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
We have often seen Northern Flickers at the entrance gate.
Small Flycatchers were seen in several places.
Great Blue Herons were seen along the way. One was being harassed by the Eastern Kingbirds.
A Lincoln’s Sparrow was seen for a moment.
Nearby a Belted Kingfisher landed across the water.
A few Bullock’s Orioles have been seen near the Osprey nest lately.
The young Ospreys are good flyers now but still return to the nest for food.
A juvenile American Robin perched nearby.
Two Western Tanagers were seen in the same area.
A few Green-winged Teal were seen nearby.
Yellow Warblers were also seen in the same area.
Eastern Kingbirds were feeding their young.
