We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
A Beaver was seen in the slough.
A few Common Yellowthroat were seen.
A Pied-billed Grebe was seen fishing.
Great Blue Herons were seen in a few areas.
A Belted Kingfisher was seen near the Heronry.
Lincoln’s Sparrows were seen both days.
Large flocks of Mallards were seen.
Orange-crowned Warblers were seen in a few areas.
A few juvenile Cedar Waxwings were seen with adults.
White-crowned Sparrows were seen along the trails.
Greater Yellowlegs were seen in the slough area.
A very healthy Coyote was seen barking in the marshy area near the Osprey nest.

We enjoyed chatting with Mary and Eileen, Kara and Sydney, Alyson with Chesney, Doug from Greendale Herb and Vine, Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogie, Mary and Wilma, Kurt with Virgil, as well as Warner on the trails. We also enjoyed visiting with Valerie, Camille and Mair in the Rotary Interpretive Centre Gift Shop.
