We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
A Beaver was seen one dark morning.
An American Kestrel was seen near the Entrance Gate.
A little Muskrat was eating plants in the slough.
Black-throated Gray Warblers were seen along the trails.
We managed to photograph some of the seven sparrow species seen on the 22nd .
Fox Sparrows were seen.
Golden-crowned Sparrows were seen.
White-crowned Sparrows were seen.
Lincoln’s Sparrows were seen.
Savannah Sparrows were seen.
Dark-eyed Juncos have arrived.
A female Northern Shoveler was seen with Mallards and a domestic Swedish Duck.
A Turkey Vulture was perched on a snag in the distance.
Pied-billed Grebes were seen as usual.
Great Blue Herons were seen as usual.
Wood Ducks were seen as usual.
A Yellow Warbler was seen near the Rotary Interpretive Centre.
Yellow-rumped Warblers were seen along the trail.

We enjoyed seeing Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogie, Jill and Rachel with Manny, Kathy with Tula, Mary and Wilma, Rick S., Doug, Kurt with Virgil, Alyson and Randy with Chesney, Warner on the trails. We also enjoyed chatting with Gordon and Dick in the Rotary Interpretive Centre Gift Shop.
