December 4th & 5th 2017
We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
Hundreds of Cackling Geese were flying past us as we wandered along the trails.
Tiny Bush Tits were seen in the shrubs.
Double-crested Cormorants were seen in several areas.
A tiny Pied-billed Grebe caught a fish which seemed large for it to eat.
House Finches, White-crowned Sparrows and Dark-eyed Juncos were seen in blackberries, where they are more protected from predators.
A Red-tailed Hawk was seen both days.
Three Beavers were seen one morning

We enjoyed seeing Sandra with Elsa, Jasmine and Shadow, Jenny and Bill, Irwin with Gigi, Graham, Charlie with Jack, Brenda with Finnegan, Mary and Wilma, Alyson with Chesney, Elan and Kara with Lady, Ben, David, as well as Terry L. on the trails.
