Vedder River

Our walk along the Rotary Trail near the Vedder River was full of some new sights.

Hooded Mergansers were pair bonding in Peach Creek next to the trail.

A Common Goldeneye was swimming in the same area.

Buffleheads were seen in an open area near there.

Brown Creepers were seen hunting insects on tree trunks.

A few Great Blue Herons were seen in trees next to the trail.

An adult Bald Eagle enjoyed a very large fish while several other Bald Eagles were waiting their turn.
