January 11th & 12th 2018
We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
The trees were frosted with snow.
Double-crested Cormorants and a Great Blue Heron shared a log near the East Bird Blind.
Fox Sparrows, Golden-crowned Sparrows and Song Sparrows were seen along the trails.
Dark-eyed Juncos, House Finches and Spotted Towhees were seen in many locations.
Trumpeter Swans spent time together in small family groups.
January 11 Snow 33F (.5C) Afternoon 32.7F (.3C)
January 12 Cloudy 31F (-.5C) Afternoon 35F (1.6C)
We enjoyed talking to Alyson with Chesney on the trail.
