We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
Black-capped Chickadees were seen as usual.
Double-crested Cormorants were seen along the way.
A Downy Woodpecker was seen for a moment.
A Hairy Woodpecker was seen nearby.
One of the resident Bald Eagles was seen.
A few House Finches were seen.
A Goldeneye was seen paddling on the lagoon.
Hooded Mergansers were fishing on the lagoon.
Pied-billed Grebes were seen.
A few Anna’s Hummingbirds were seen near the Rotary Interpretive Centre.
Ring-necked Ducks, American Wigeons, Wood Ducks and Mallards were seen. A Beaver swam past a couple of Mallards across from the Rotary Interpretive Centre.

A Gray Squirrel was seen in the Salwein Creek area.

We enjoyed seeing Charlie with Jack, Alyson with Chesney, Janet, Karen and Hazel doing a bird count for the Great Blue Heron Nature Society, Deb and Arlo, Karl, Dick K, Dick McK, as well as Helmut on the trails.
