We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
We came across a couple of Brown Creepers in the Salwein Creek forest.
A Golden-crowned Kinglet was seen in the Salwein Creek forest.
Double-crested Cormorants were seen as usual.
Adult and immature Bald Eagles were seen.
Fox Sparrows were seen in many locations.
Gadwalls paddled along on the water.
American Wigeon, Mallards and Canada Geese were seen in many areas. The Canada Geese were seen in many locations arguing over territory.
Anna’s Hummingbirds were checking out territories for nests.
Dark-eyed Juncos were seen in many areas.
Red-winged Blackbirds were seen and heard along the trails.
Trumpeter Swans were seen heading to farm fields.
Wood Ducks are usually seen.

We always enjoy seeing Warner, Kathy with Tula, Den with Marshall, Candice and Lily with Heavy Duty, Alyson with Chesney, Bob and Shirley, as well as Christa on the trails. We also enjoyed a nice visit with Muriel, Alice, Camille, Valerie, Barb and Bev in the Rotary Interpretive Centre Gift Shop.
