February 9th & 10th 2018
We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
Double-crested Cormorants were seen as usual.
The resident Bald Eagles were seen near the Heronry.
Fox Sparrows were seen in many areas.
Great Blue Herons were arguing on snags in the Salwein Creek loop. Many were seen in the trees near the East Bird Blind.
We saw another tagged Red-tailed Hawk. They are tagged by the Vancouver Airport team and relocated to avoid collisions with aircraft. If you see one, note the tag, date, time and location and report it to them.
Wood Ducks are usually seen.
February 09 Light Snow 36F (2.2C) Afternoon 38.3F (3.5C)

We enjoy seeing Kathy with Tula, Charlie with Jack, Janet, Karen and Hazel doing a bird count for the Great Blue Heron Nature Society, John and Ben, as well as Christa on the trails.
