We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Cackling Geese were seen flying past in good sized flocks.

Black-capped Chickadees were seen along the way.

Double-crested Cormorants were seen fishing.

Brown Creepers were seen in the Salwein Creek Loop.

The resident Bald Eagles were seen near the Heronry.

Fox Sparrows were seen in several spots.

Song Sparrows were also seen in several spots.

Gadwalls and Lesser Scaups were seen on the South Lagoon.

Pied-billed Grebes were seen in the same area.

A large flock of Trumpeter Swans rested on the water and ice of the South Lagoon.

It was nice to see Corrie and Frank, as well as Graham on the trails.
