We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Gadwalls will be seen for a few days at this time of year.

Green-winged Teal are often seen at this time of year.

A male Hooded Merganser put in an appearance.

Ring-necked Ducks are a winter resident.

Wood Ducks are a year round resident.

Little American Kestrels were seen along the way.

Golden-crowned Sparrows are being seen at the moment.

Great Blue Herons are busy at the Heronry.

We always enjoy seeing Charlie with Jack, Janet, Karen and Hazel doing a bird count for the Great Blue Heron Nature Society as well as Warner on the trails.
