We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
Red-winged Blackbirds were in fine form, both in song and display techniques.
House Finches were seen in Blackberries.
A few Song Sparrows were seen.
Little Buffleheads reflected green on their faces in the sun.
Double-crested Cormorants were seen on their usual logs.
A Common Goldeneye, a pair of Green-winged Teal and a Pied-billed Grebe were seen nearby.
Great Blue Herons were busy at the Heronry while others fished in secluded spots.
Hooded Mergansers and Wood Ducks were seen near the Heronry.
Several Trumpeter Swan flocks flew overhead.

We enjoyed seeing Kathy with Tula and Rona, Alyson with Chesney as well as Janet doing a bird count for the Great Blue Heron Nature Society on the trails.
