March 12, 2018

We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

A male Northern Flicker was busily gathering ants in the grass near the edge of the trail. A juvenile White-crowned Sparrow hopped in front of him.

House Finches were seen in Blackberries.

Ring-necked Ducks were seen on the lagoons.

American Robins were seen in several locations.

Wood Ducks were checking out possible nest holes.
