We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Double-crested Cormorants stood on logs.

Gadwalls, Common Mergansers and Hooded Mergansers paddled along on the water.

A Common Goldeneye was diving near the Heronry.

Green-winged Teal paddled along near the Heronry.

Building and repairing nests was in full swing at the Heronry.

A little Mink was the object of interest to a Canada Goose.

A few Lesser Scaup were floating on the North Lagoon.

Violet-green Swallows and Tree Swallows were seen along the trail.

Wood Ducks were looking for nest holes.

A Pileated Woodpecker was seen at the Heronry.

Weather

We always enjoy seeing Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogey, Darlene and Charlene, Lori with Daisy and Jade, Jenny and Bill, Selma and Elma, Shirley and Bob as well as Alyson with Chesney on the trails.
