We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
Black-capped Chickadees are often seen.
Common Mergansers flew into the slough for a pair bonding “water dance”.

Fox Sparrows were seen in a few areas.
Great Blue Herons were busy getting their nests built or repaired.
American Robins were seen in a few areas.
A good-sized flock of Violet-green Swallows got our attention.
Wood Ducks were seen in a few areas.

We enjoyed seeing Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogey, Cathy with Tula and Rona, Frank, Alyson and Randy with Chesney, John Larsen as well as Ann on the trails.
