We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

A Double-crested Cormorant was seen in a few different areas.
Northwestern Crows were seen.
One of the resident Bald Eagles was sitting on its nest while another was on guard near the Heronry.
A Northern Flicker was seen on the Main Road.
A Cackling Goose was seen in the slough.
Pied-billed Grebes were fishing.
Green-winged Teal were seen along the way.
Great Blue Herons were working at the Heronry and gathering nesting material nearby.
Tree Swallows and Violet-green Swallows were seen.
A female Common Merganser was resting on a log.
A Red-eared Slider was seen on a log.
Wood Ducks were seen as usual.

We always enjoy seeing Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogie, Christa, Jim with Daisy and Jade, Frank, Kara and Evan with Toffee, John and Catherine, Ed F., Dick, Neal, Tove with Benji as well as Denise with Summer on the trails. We stopped in at the Rotary Interpretive Centre Gift Shop for a nice visit with Hazel and Mair.
