We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

A Beaver paddled back and forth as we wandered along.

The Heronry resident Bald Eagle was at its nest.

The Heronry was quite active.

The Ospreys look like they are getting the nest ready for eggs.

Violet-green Swallows were seen along the way.

Water Lilies are blooming.

A Savannah Sparrow has been seen on several days.

A Lesser Scaup was at the North Lagoon.

Canada Geese were seen.

White-crowned Sparrows were near the Rotary Interpretive Centre.

A male Hairy Woodpecker was seen at the Rotary Interpretive Centre.

A Pileated Woodpecker foraged for insects at the Heronry and landed on a snag close to us when we were leaving.
