Manning Park Part 2

Near the parking lot of the Alpine Meadows at Manning Park, we found the usual American Pikas in their home.

While we were watching the sweet little Pikas, a female Yellow-bellied Marmot came along. She wasn’t at all worried about us as she continued on her way to collect bedding material for her den. She kept going into all the little American Pikas stored hay stacks and gather whatever she wanted to take back to her own nest.
