We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

The Heronry resident Bald Eagle’s fledgling was seen at the Heronry while the marsh resident Bald Eagle chicks were still on the nest.

A Belted Kingfisher was seen nearby.

Cottontail Rabbits were seen as usual.

The Black Phoebe is still visiting.

A Brown-headed Cowbird was seen nearby.

Cedar Waxwings were seen in many areas including the Saskatoon bush near the Rotary Interpretive Centre.

Willow Flycatchers were seen in a few areas.

Wood Ducks were seen as well.

Common Yellowthroats and fledglings were seen.

We enjoyed seeing Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogie, Chantal, Mary & Wilma, John LeFlock, Leona & Warner, Caroline with Hunter on the trails.
