July 11th & 12th 2018

We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

A Beaver swam past with a branch.

Northwestern Crows and their fledglings were near the entrance gate.

Dragonflies were seen near water.

A juvenile Great Blue Heron was seen in a dark corner near the Heronry.

Barn Swallow fledglings were seen at the far end of the road past the Heronry.

House Sparrows were feeding fledglings.

American Kestrel chicks were spending time out of the nest this morning.

A Belted Kingfisher was seen in several areas.

The Black Phoebe was seen near the Rotary Interpretive Centre.

Male Common Yellowthroats were seen in a few areas.

We enjoyed seeing Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogie, Mary and Wilma, Graham, Howard and Jessica, Leona, Alyson with Chesney on the trails.
