We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Fledgling Great Blue Herons were seen exploring the slough near the Heronry.

A Belted Kingfisher was seen nearby.

Two Coyotes, one was a hybrid with a domestic dog, were seen in the newly mowed field across from the Heronry.

A male Downy woodpecker was seen near the Main Bridge.

Common Yellowthroats were seen along the way.

July 20 Cloudy 59F (15C) Afternoon 78F (26C)

We enjoyed seeing Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogie, Leona & Warner, Janet & Hazel doing a bird count for the Great Blue Heron Nature Society, Howard, Barb with Flash & Teal on the trails.
