We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Northern Flickers and European Starlings were seen near the entrance gate.

A Green Heron was seen in the distance, perched over the Salwein Creek.

Fledgling Great Blue Herons were seen near the Heronry.

The little American Kestrel fledglings were back at their nest site.

Six River Otters peered at us through the long grass and vegetation near the Heronry.

A Red Admiral Butterfly sipped nectar from Buddleia and Tansy.

A Common Yellowthroat posed on Buddleia as well.
