We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Belted Kingfishers were seen with a juvenile. They were having a few moments of family time, with the juvenile sometimes causing the adults to ward off their offspring with wings spread wide.

Downy Woodpeckers were seen, as well as a Hairy Woodpecker during our walk.
