October 1st & 2nd 2018

We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Several Fox Sparrows were seen near the Heronry.

A few Lincoln’s Sparrows were seen in the same area.

Canada Geese and Cackling Geese were seen in the slough.

A few Northern Pintails were floating along nearby.

A Belted Kingfisher was seen on the opposite side of the slough.

Savannah Sparrows were seen at the far end of the road past the Heronry.

White-crowned Sparrows were nearby.

Wood Ducks were seen near the Heronry.

We took a drive out to Harrison Lake for a walk around the lagoon.

A Great Blue Heron was fishing in the lagoon.

Four Northern Shovelers paddled along on the lagoon.

A couple of Savannah Sparrows were seen during our walk around the lagoon.

We enjoyed seeing Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogie, Alyson with Chesney, Mary and Wilma, Kara and Sydney with Toffee, Frank and Corrie, Helmut while we were out.
