We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

An American Starling peeked out of a hole in a snag.

An American Robin was perched on top of the snag.

A Peregrine Falcon, perched high on a snag, was watching ducks in the slough.

A Great Blue Heron was fishing near the Heronry.

A Belted Kingfisher was seen close to the Great Blue Heron.

The Mandarin Duck was in the same area as usual. Although it was with Mallards and Wood Ducks, it is very aloof and keeps to itself.
