We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

The resident Bald Eagle was seen near the Heronry.

The Heronry nests are becoming more visible as the leaves change colour and fall from the trees.

A male Belted Kingfisher was seen in a few areas.

The little Mandarin Duck was in its usual spot. It is at home, sleeping, preening and posing and occasionally picking on the other ducks.

Mallards and Wilson's Snipe were seen in many areas.

Wood Ducks were seen as well.
