We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Severeral Large flocks of Cackling Geese flew past.

The Canvasback was seen on the South Lagoon.

Green-winged Teal and Mallards were seen in many areas.

Pied-billed Grebes were seen in many areas.

A young Great Blue Heron was seen from the Main Bridge.

The nearby mountains had fresh snow on them.

Male and female Northern Shovelers were seen along the way.

American Wigeon were seen in many areas.

We enjoyed seeing Alyson and Randy with Chesney, Kevin, Frank, as well as Jamie G, Janne P and Helen T. getting ready to do the Young Naturalists Christmas Bird Count on the trails.
