We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Several Hooded Mergansers were performing a “bonding dance.”

The resident Bald Eagle flew into its nest.

Pied-billed Grebes were seen along the way.

Common Mergansers and Mallars were seen as well.

A female Green-winged Teal was seen.

A Great Blue Heron was fishing in a marshy area.

Wood Ducks were seen as usual.

Double-crested Cormorants were seen in a few areas.

We enjoyed seeing Alyson and Randy with Chesney, Melinda and Rob with Bosley, Frank, Dick, Janet and Kevin doing a feeder bird count for the Great Blue Heron Nature Society during our walk.
