December 9th to 12th 2018

We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

The Canvasback continues on the South Lagoon.

Double-crested Cormorants were seen at the North Lagoon.

A Northern Flicker perched on a sign near the Rotary Interpretive Centre.

A Peregrine Falcon was seen all three days.

A Song Sparrow was seen in the same area.

Wood Ducks were seen along the way.

Great Blue Herons were seen at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve and the Rotary Trail.

Common Mergansers were seen at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve and the Rotary Trail.

Buffleheads were seen in both areas as well.

Several Bald Eagles were seen in both areas as well.

Hooded Mergansers were seen in both areas as well.

Mallards and American Wigeons were in both areas as well.

Ring-necked Ducks were seen in both areas as well.

We enjoyed seeing Sandy and Bill with Bear, Karma with Nali and Pepsi, Christa, Liz and Gordon with Boomer, Jenny and Bill, Sue and Lisa with Maggie during our walk.
