December 13th & 14th 2018

We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

The slough was quiet, on both days, when we arrived.

Song Sparrows were seen in a few areas.

Double-crested Cormorants were seen in the slough and the North Lagoon.

Green-winged Teals were seen in the slough.

The Peregrine Falcon was seen surveying the area near the Heronry.

Wood Ducks are usually seen at this time of year.

Ruby-crowned Kinglets were seen on the Rotary Trail.

Buffleheads were seen at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve and the Rotary Trail.

Bald Eagles were seen at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve and the Rotary Trail.

Great Blue Herons were seen at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve and the Rotary Trail.
