We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
The slough had a few Mallards on it both days.
A Beaver floated past as we wandered along.
Large flocks of Cackling Geese flew past.

Trumpeter Swans were seen flying past.
Song Sparrows were seen along the way.
A Double-crested Cormorant watched a Bald Eagle fly overhead.
The resident Bald Eagle was seen.
A few Buffleheads were seen.
Gadwalls were seen on the South Lagoon.
Pied-billed Grebes were seen in a few areas.
House Finches brought a bright moment to our walks.
Belted Kingfishers were seen near the South Lagoon.
Northern Pintails were on the South Lagoon.
Mallards were seen in good numbers, some were bonding.
Wood Ducks were also seen.

We enjoyed seeing Liz and Gordon with Boomer, Elan with Lady and Cooper, Kara and Sydney with Toffee on the trails. We stopped in at the Rotary Interpretive Centre Gift Shop for a nice visit with Valerie, Barb and Dick.
