We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Golden-crowned Sparrows were seen at the parking lot.

When we arrived at the parking lot, some of the Trumpeter Swans were leaving while others were at the South Lagoon as usual.

Common Mergansers were seen in a few spots.

Green-winged Teal were seen in several areas.

A Peregrine Falcon was seen in the distance.

The Heronry was very active.

A Beaver was seen as well.

Ring-necked Ducks were also seen.

Song Sparrows were singing in many areas.

A male Common Yellowthroat Warbler was seen near the Heronry.

Several Tree Swallows were seen arguing over nesting sites.

A Red-eared Slider Turtle was seen on a log.

Wood Ducks were seen in many locations.

Weather

We enjoyed seeing Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogie, Alyson and Randy with Chesney, Jock with Hunter, Karen with Roxy on the trails.
