We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Red-winged Blackbirds were very vocal as usual at this time of year.
Golden-crowned Sparrows were near the parking lot.
A Fox Sparrow was seen along the trail.
The marsh resident Bald Eagle was brooding.
Green-winged Teal were seen in the slough.
Gadwalls and American Wigeon were visiting the South Lagoon.
Wood Ducks were seen as usual.
A Beaver was seen in the water.
American Robins added bright spots to the walk.
Tree Swallows were arguing over nesting sites.
A Canada Goose has chosen the Osprey nest site for its own.
The Great Blue Herons were actively working on their nests.
