We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Great Blue Herons were busy with nesting while the Heronry resident Bald Eagle was brooding.

Green-winged Teal were seen nearby.

Mallards were using logs to rest on in the slough.

A River Otter clambered onto the shore to check out the area.

Red-winged Blackbirds were seen along the way.

An American Robin was one of many seen.

A very large mixed flock of Tree Swallows and Violet-green Swallows appeared with the rain.
