We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Red-winged Blackbirds were carrying nesting material.

The Bushtit nest looks completed.

Song Sparrows were seen in a few spots.

Black-capped Chickadees were seen along the way.

A Eurasian Collared-Dove was seen on the overhead wires.

A Canada Goose was choosing a snag for a nesting site.

Great Blue Herons foraged for food and nesting materials.

Mallards were seen in a few locations.

American Wigeon were seen.

Ring-necked Ducks and Wood Ducks were also seen.

Tree Swallows and Violet-green Swallows were seen from the road past the Heronry.

We enjoyed seeing Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogey, Karen and Hazel doing a bird count for the Great Blue Heron Nature Society, Camille during our walk.
