We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

A flock of over 50 Snow Geese surprised us when the flew overhead.

A male Red-winged Blackbird performed on the path in front of us. More Red-winged Blackbirds were seen in many locations.

Black-capped Chickadees were seen as well.

Northwestern Crows were seen in a few areas.

The resident Bald Eagles were making sure any interlopers were hustled out of their territory.

Great Blue Herons were very active at the Heronry.

Mallards are usually seen.

An American Robin was one of a few seen.

A Barn Swallow stopped for a moments rest before flying after more insects.

Song Sparrows are usually seen.

American Goldfinches were seen near the Rotary Interpretive Centre.

A Yellow-rumped Warbler was seen for a moment.

Twinberries are starting to bloom. They are a favourite of Hummingbirds.

Wood Ducks were seen from the East Bird Blind and many other spots.

We enjoyed seeing Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogey on the trails.
