We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

The Heronry resident Bald Eagles take turns at the nest.

Great Blue Herons were active near the Heronry.

A Beaver was seen nearby.

An American Coot was seen in the slough.

Killdeer were seen in the farm field nearby.

A little Lincoln’s Sparrow was seen for a moment.

American Robins were seen along the way.

Nootka Roses are beginning to bloom.

A male Rufous Hummingbird was seen in the distance.

Red-winged Blackbirds were seen in a few areas.

Wood Ducks were seen in many locations.

A male American Goldfinch was seen as well.

Common Yellowthroats were seen along the way.

Yellow-rumped Warblers are migrating through our area.

A female Northern Flicker was seen at the entrance gate when we were leaving.

It was nice to see Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogie, Nigel, Randy with Chesney, Dave P., Melinda and Rob with Bosley during our walk.
