May 14th & 15th 2019

We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

A Beaver was grooming itself on the shore of the slough.

Great Blue Herons were busy keeping chicks happy in the Heronry.

A tiny Cottontail Rabbit was seen along the trail.

Common Mergansers, American Wigeon, a female Bufflehead, and Wood Ducks were seen in the slough.

A Eurasian Collared-Dove was seen near the Heronry.

Tree Swallows were seen in a few areas.

Cedar Waxwings were seen as well.

American Robins were seen in a few locations.

Red-winged Blackbirds were seen in a few areas.

A male Common Yellowthroat appeared for a moment.

It was nice to see Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogie, Beverly with Mogli and Sampson, Denise with Summer, Fred, Fernando and Paulina monitoring, Leona during our walk. We stopped in at the ritg for a visit with Camille, Rose and Carrie.
