May 25th & 26th 2019

We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Beavers were seen gathering food and grooming.

A Black-headed Grosbeak was seen.

A Eurasian Collared-Dove was seen near the Heronry.

Canada Goose goslings are growing quickly.

Great Blue Herons were fishing for their chicks. There is one juvenile that has been seen regularly since the start of nesting season.

Mallard ducklings are always cute.

Northern Rough-winged Swallows, Tree Swallows and Violet-green Swallows were present.

Cedar Waxwings were seen in the distance.

Wood Ducks and ducklings were seen in a few spots.

It was nice to see Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogie, John with Leo, Cathy with Tula, Jill and Rachel with Manny, Dean, Melinda and Rob with Bosley, Denise with Summer, Tove with Benji, Tom and Bill, Heinz with Maggie, Liz and Gordon with Boomer during our walk.
