Manning Park

We took a drive to E.C. Manning Park today, the weather was beautiful as we wandered the trails.

A little Chipmunk was one of many seen along the way.

Columbian Ground Squirrels are the official greeters of the picnic area near the Pinewoods Restaurant.

There are wonderful views from the road to the Heather Trail.

Pretty Spreading Phlox blooms in the most amazing areas.

Pikas and Marmots use the caverns in rock piles for their homes.

Pine Siskin perched above us while watching everything around.

A Cedar Waxwing paused for a moment with its crest raised at another Cedar Waxwing.

Yellow-rumped Warblers were seen in several areas.
